Apple Rumoured to Release iOS 5.0.2 Next Week to Fix the Battery Issues
In the latest rumour about Apple and the ongoing Battery life issues, Apple is expected to release the bug fix in its next version of iOS 5.0.2 which would fix the battery life issue.
Days after the iPhone 4S was made available to the public, people started complaining about the battery life issues they faced with the iPhone 4S. This issue, which was causing a frequent battery drain on the iPhone 4S and also some iPhone 4 and iPads which had installed the iOS 5.
Apple soon figured out a couple of issues in iOS 5 and released iOS 5.0.1 to fix this issue last week but this solved the problem for only some users and for others, this even worsened the problems people had in the iOS 5.
As reported by a German Apple site Macerkopf.de, an alleged Apple software engineer has confirmed that Apple will be soon releasing the next version of iOS 5 (5.0.2) which will solve all the battery issues which has plagued a majority of users.
The report claims that Apple’s internal goal is for iOS 5.0.2 to provide iPhone 4S users 40 hours of standby with 10 hours of active use. It said that the update will arrive “no later than next week.”
