iOS 5.1 Beta Seeded to Developers – Hints at iPhone 5, iPad 3 and Apple TV 3

Apple today released the beta version of the next update for iOS, the iOS 5.1.

iOS 5Since the launch of the iOS 5 and the iPhone 4S at the Apple “Lets Talk iPhone” event help in October this year, a majority of people reported issues with the battery life of their iPhone 4S (and iPhone 4 as well for some).

Apple released iOS 5.0.1 earlier this month to fix the battery issues in iOS devices but the attempt proved to be a failure with some users reporting the battery issue getting even worse. The iOS 5.0.2 was rumoured to be released this week but the information was not correct as we did not hear any such update from Apple.

The latest update that we have got is that today, Apple seeded the beta version of the next update for iOS 5.1 to the developers, a pre-release version of iOS that runs on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. From this, it seems that Apple is close to releasing a major iOS update – iOS 5.1 – that would hopefully also resolve the poor battery bug fix. iOS 5.1 is also reported to enhance the dictation support for supported iOS devices.

The beta of this iOS 5.1 is available to registered developers and is available to download from the Apple’s official Dev website.

Most interestingly, the guys at 9to5Mac have reported references to  the future iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Have a look for yourself at the below screenshots shared by 9to5Mac.

iPad 3, dubbed iPad 3,3 in iOS 5.1

Apple TV 3, codenamed J33 – referenced in iOS 5.1

So, what do you think with this iOS 5.1 to be released to the public in some time and the references to the future iGadgets. Does this mean we are going to see the next iPhone in Summer 2012, the next iPad in Spring 2012 and the Apple TV in… well, I actually do not care too much for the Apple TV, when it comes 😛
